We aren’t expecting the “La La Land” backlash to stop the film from collecting several awards come Sunday. We are predicting 10 victories for the musical with our final predictions.

Oscar ceremony will begin 8:30 PM ET this Sunday, but we usually post our final predictions when voting closes, which happened 3 days ago. Here’s how we think it’ll play out:

Oscars: Updated Predictions – April

So I finally updated these. A few things have cleared up, but even almost halfway into 2016 there are still many question marks.

If I had to make a super early call though, I’d say “The Birth of a Nation” is probably your Best Picture winner this year. “Silence,” “Billy Lynn” and other will give it a run though.

Keep checking our the Oscar page for the most updated predictions!
